Recipe Exchange

For my wedding shower, everyone was asked to bring a dish to pass and share the recipe. As part of my thank you notes, I compiled the recipes in a booklet. A few years later, after using many of those recipes repeatedly, I decided I should contact friends and family to submit their favorite recipes and put together a similar booklet. This was really well before the blog world and generally recipe web sites overall. But, since 2004, I have compiled recipes that my friends and family have tried and enjoyed almost every year. Despite our total digital age, the annual booklets are all saved as printable PDF files and I have added a file that is an index of most of the past years’ recipes. The original wedding shower document is now included below as well.

The guidelines to submit: all recipes must be something you have actually tried and liked and you must submit it electronically, preferably in the body of the email. Please also let me know how you would like your name to appear with your recipe (if at all) and if I can include your location. Also, if you remember where you found the recipe, please let me know that as well. In this age of recipes on blogs everywhere, I would like to give credit where credit is due. Thanks! Leave a comment on this page if you need me to send the email information or you can submit your recipe via the comment section of you have happened along this site. THANKS!

Are you new to this exchange/site? Feel free to leave a comment!

Enjoy!

  1. Wow Kari! I don’t know how you do it, but I love trying these new recipes. Any of the recipes from the wedding shower document you would recommend the Oh’s or anyone else to try…without hurting anyones feelings of course
